How do I book an appointment?

To book an appointment, contact us via phone/text (954)593-7111 or through the Contact page and someone from our office will contact you within 24 hours or less. In order to confirm an appointment, all fees must be paid in full. 

 

How many photographs do I get with a 30 minute package? 1 hour package?

A 30 minute photo shoot includes 10 photographs and a 1 hour photo shoot includes 20 photographs.

 

Who decides which pictures I receive upon the completion of my photoshoot?

Upon the completion of the photoshoot, each customer receives an emailed link to a proofing gallery with all the photos that were taken. Our customers have the freedom to sit in the comfort of their home and select their favorite photographs without feeling pressured to make immediate decisions. Once the selections have been made, our customers simple select "SHARE" to indicate that the final selections have been made and that are ready for us to begin the editing process.

 

How long does it take for the photos to be edited?

All photographs are edited in the order in which they are received. Customers can pay a rush editing fee of $25 if they would like to receive priority. Photographs can typically take a maximum of 7-10 days based upon the amount of customers being edited at the time. We recommend that photoshoots be scheduled at least 2 weeks or more prior to the date the photos are needed to allow for editing. Photos being retouched typically take longer.

 

What if I would like to select more photographs than the allotted number within my package?

We are always thrilled when our clients feel compelled to select more photographs than included in their package because that tells us that they loved our work. Each additional edited photograph is only $6 and each additional retouched photograph is $20. 

 

What's the difference between edited and retouched photos?

Editing is the basic enhancement we do to all images, which involves adjustments to color and contrast.  This involves meticulous fine-tuning, such as boosting the colors of the image, to create the mood and feel of the photo. Retouching includes taking a blemish away, cleaning up flyaway hairs, eliminating distractions, or slightly thinning out arms or legs. It also involves smoothing skin.

 

Can I do a wardrobe change with a 30 minute photoshoot? 1 hour photoshoot?

30 minute - Yes, but you may feel rushed to have time to change clothes and take a VARIETY of shots. We do not recommend more than 1 outfit change, if any.

1 hour - Absolutely. Many of our clients have time for up to 3 wardrobe changes.

 

Is there an extra fee for each person who takes pictures during the photo shoot?

No. Our clients have the freedom to take as many photos as they would like with as many people as they'd like (with limitations for studio photoshoots), without added fees.

 

Is there a difference in price for on location photos versus studio photos?

No, there is no difference in price (as long as there is not a venue cost).

What is the cancellation policy?

At Jai Simone Photography, we understand that things happen. We ask that all cancellations be made 48 hours prior to your appointment date & time in order to receive a full refund. Appointments canceled after this point will result in the loss of a $50 deposit. Cancellations due to unpredictable changes in weather will NOT receive a penalty. Jai Simone Photography also offers studio photo shoots as an alternative due to weather or the customer may opt to reschedule.
